What's the Facial Roller Trend?

Have you ever wondered whether some of the self-proclaimed tools available in your local pharmaceutical stores work or not?

Nothing really can replace the beautiful and effective results that come from a medical aesthetic procedure by a cosmetic nurse who you trust and has helped you with a treatment plan in collaboration with your vision and goals.

Here are some popular over the counter options that boast results similar to medical aesthetics, and what you should know about them.

Facial Rollers

These odd-looking tools are available in all sorts of shapes and sizes and offer a variety of benefits and attributes. Some made of various crystals, they can be a beautiful addition to your counter in your bathroom. But do they work?

While they may alleviate tension and feel wonderful on your face, they also claim to tone and lift your complexion by sculpting the jawline with its upward motion. These may be a great interim option to

  • Perking up sagging skin temporarily

  • Relaxing muscles and offering meditative calmness for stress

  • Massaging or kneading your tight facial muscles

  • Stimulating blood circulation and providing a rejuvenating glow.

  • Shifts and drains blockages in the lymphatic system, as in acupressure type benefits.

  • Reduces lymphatic fluid and remove swelling or inflammation.

Facial Stones

There is a ton of research about the benefits and attributes of stones and crystals for healing. Jade is considered a great Beauty restorer for your skin and stress. A stone like this may help reduce inflammation and create circulation under the skin surface. Stones can be a great therapy to continue at home after an aesthetic therapy or injectables.

If you are using any type of tool or roller at home, whether for anti-aging benefits or destressing massage, ensure you clean it after each use. After all, if we are not to be touching our faces, we definitely do not want to use a tool all over your glowing face that has been exposed to dirt or bacteria.

If you are interested in choosing a roller for your face, do your homework to research the best value for your budget or bang for your buck. My favourite facial roller is a jade roller, there is no other home facial roller that can beat the way it makes my skin feel and look! It is so worth the home self-care investment!

Nothing works quite like a Forma facial or dermal fillers to sculpt your face for an extended amount of time, but a home facial roller may give your face a little pick-me-up for stress, impending events or a shiny and healthy glow. Got more questions about home self-care options? Let’s chat!
